  • Lovely Salsa

I loved the tasty salsa, but my husband thought it was just okay. Of course, I put my own twist on it! I have cherry tomatoes from the garden, so I used those. I did not grill them or put them in the blender, just sliced them in half and mixed them in. Actually, I did not use the blender at all. The grilled jalapeno and onion were so tender, that a rough chop was all that was needed. If you want to dress up your steak a little, this is a tasty way to do it.

  • KC strip steak = NY strip steak

FROM WIKIPEDIA - The strip steak is a type of cut of beef steaks. In the United States and Canada it is also known as striploin, shell steak, Delmonico, Kansas City strip or New York strip steak. Cut from the strip loin part of the sirloin, the strip steak consists of a muscle that does little work, and so it is particularly tender, though not as tender as the nearby ribeye or tenderloin (fat content of the strip is somewhere between these two cuts). Unlike the nearby tenderloin, the strip loin is a sizable muscle, allowing it to be cut into the larger portions.

Get it now?? It is a CUT of the beef. New York strip steak is also it\\'s common name, just as Kansas City strip steak! Though personally, I think NY strip steak is more well known. But essentially...they are the SAME DANG THING! So get over yourself and stop trying to be such a know-it-all. You don\\'t know it all. And if this is what irks you, your life is really, really small.
