  • Quiche? No. Strata? Yes.

    I think strata is a more accurate title. A little too milky for my taste. I think an egg plus an egg white and 1/4 cup would make a better strata. Also, either lightly toast the bread cubes or use stale bread. They'll absorb the custard mixture better.

  • Quiche-it is not a doughy thing

    Anne-Marie Holloway - May 21, 2007 02:15:44 PM PST
    Quiche is not a doughy pizza thing. Quiche is an egg mixture baked in the oven. If done right, it is a delectible entre, and can be filled with almost any type of meat. Maybe when writing reviews, some people should try the dish before automatically turning it down.

  • REPLY -Where is the Quiche

    ONE of the MANY definitions of "Quiche";
    "Originally a pie made with a butter crust and filled with eggs beaten with heavy cream and very smoky bacon. American cooks have created a plethora of recipes for quiche."
