The ingredients are easy to find and the flavor combination leaves you wanting more. My husband liked them enough to say that they ranked right up there with chocolate chip cookies, which are his favorite. I was intrigued with the ingredients and found the end results superb!

  • Fabulous!

These were most excellent cookies! I used fresh cranberries and was a little unsure how these would turn out, as the cranberries were so bitter--but the taste was perfect. Don't skip the grated orange peel--in my opinion, the hint of orange makes the cookie and gives it a different twist from the usual oatmeal cookie.

I couldn't find anything in the supermarket called vanilla chips, so I used Nestle premier white morsels. Very, very good.

I will definitely make these again and again :)

the touch of orange zest in this recipe was perfect. I did make individual cookies but put them in a pan. So chewy and so good.

  • Most Excellent!

I am making these as we speak and have tested a few....YUM! I also altered the recipe because I couldn't find the vanilla chips...I added pecan pieces. I think this is a great combination as there is no added sweetness from vanilla chips and the pecans added a bit of crunch. We are taking these to a party tonight and I'm sure they will be a big hit. I think next time I might add some semi-sweet choco chips as a variation and see how they turn out..Ciao!

  • Fabulous in Poland

We can't always get the necessary ingredients in Poland...but I happened to find dried cranberries at Tesco. These were by far the best cookies I have made this holiday season (and I've probably made over 20 dozen cookies this holiday season). I don't do all the rec. amounts...I use 1 cup of raisins...1 cup of dried cranberries...i break up 1 white chocolate bar (since we don't have w.c. chips). and it all seems to still end up so sweet. I have yet to try the orage zest with it (as oranges are from turkey or spain this time of year and tend to be more expensive)...but i'll have to do that later!!! COMPLETELY TRY THESE COOKIES!!! They're a must!
