I cooked this recipe lastnight and to my dismay, it doesn't look anything like in the picture. It's pretty scary looking actually...I'm thinking it's because I didn't use stale bread and it really cooked down. HOWEVER, it tastes AMAZING. I'd recommend it to anyone. My pickiest eater approved so far so I'm wondering what the kids will think tonight.

  • For low sodium and low fat

    Sharon C - June 23, 2008 06:12:49 PM PST
Use the whole grain bread cubes for low fat, and more fiber, and Campbell's Healthy Request soup for low sodium, and you could use Swanson's chicken broth, with low sodium, and that would also cut the preparation time down too! You might have left over chicken already cooked and cut that up into cubes to save on prep time also. I find if you just use your imagination, you can lower the fat and sodium as wall as calories for most recipes.
