Prepared in a slow cooker, this tasty, no-fuss main dish has a flavorful blend of seasonings and the irresistible duo of tender chicken and moist dressing. It's nice enough for the holidays and easy enough to fix year-round. -- Angie Marquart, New Washington, Ohio
This recipe was wonderful, i just added a clove of garlic and it was even better!

My boyfriend and I LLOOVVVEE this dish. I am not a fan of left overs at all...and I eat for a week after it's made and it's just as good as it was the first day!! I encourage you to try it at least once...ENJOY and Happy New Year!!

I cooked this recipe lastnight and to my dismay, it doesn't look anything like in the picture. It's pretty scary looking actually...I'm thinking it's because I didn't use stale bread and it really cooked down. HOWEVER, it tastes AMAZING. I'd recommend it to anyone. My pickiest eater approved so far so I'm wondering what the kids will think tonight.

Use the whole grain bread cubes for low fat, and more fiber, and Campbell's Healthy Request soup for low sodium, and you could use Swanson's chicken broth, with low sodium, and that would also cut the preparation time down too! You might have left over chicken already cooked and cut that up into cubes to save on prep time also. I find if you just use your imagination, you can lower the fat and sodium as wall as calories for most recipes.
