  6. 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  7. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  8. 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  9. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  10. Pinch ground nutmeg
  11. Pinch ground cloves
  12. 1 (12 ounce) package vanilla chips

Cooking Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars; beat in egg. Combine flour, orange peel, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cloves; add to creamed mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
