Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Pinch ground nutmeg
- Pinch ground cloves
- 1 (12 ounce) package vanilla chips
Cooking Directions
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars; beat in egg. Combine flour, orange peel, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cloves; add to creamed mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
