I read all of your reviews in fear of carbs. So, I decided to make them anyway, eat them all myself and chase them with a full bottle of red. When I\'m done, I won\'t remember all the carb nonsense, won\'t remember if they were good or not and I\'ll have a great post for Al-Anon. Cheers!

stop obsessing about carbs and live. food is to be appreciated, not be over indulgent in. there are good and bad carbs. the only thing people should do about all carbs is to not over indulge in them. stop obsessing about them, and live well.

These were tasty and good. I wouldn\'t eat a bunch for a full meal but in moderatioon what a fine addition to dinner. Fast and easy with that gourmet flavor and style.

The nutritional information is per serving. There are 20 servings in the recipe, so the 4 carbs are per every crescent pinwheel.

You can tell right away that this is obviously going to be a high calorie recipe. I do not understand why people constantly write in and complain about the calorie/fat/carb/etc. content of recipes. That\'s not really what you are here to rate. You\'re here to rate whether or not you liked the recipe. Everything in moderation right? If you don\'t already know that something with prociutto, cheese, and biscuits was going to be high calorie then you need to grow a brain. Would you leave a review of chocolate ice cream and complain about the nutritional info? It\'s idiotic and annoying. This recipe was great.

Prosciutto AND feta? No wonder I found this too salty. I always make a new dish by strictly adhering to the recipe and then tweaking as necessary. This would be better with either plain ham and feta, or prosciutto and a less highly-flavored cheese, like mozzarella. I also felt that there was no need for added oil.
I would like to suggest that those of you who are watching your carbs stringently due to diabetes simply avoid any recipe with obvious bread components. And those of you on reduced-salt heart-healthy diets should stay away from feta and prosciutto. (Oh, wait, maybe that should include me.) Okay, back to the veggie recipes.

Who cares about the carbs ... lets talk about the salt. Next time I will put a salt shaker up to my mouth. Crecents are salty, feta is salty and prosciutto is salty ..... I\\'m not sure what I was thinking (salt salt salt = ???? may salt). Couldn\\'t taste much else.

These are so yummy! Just in time for football season. Everytime I read a review, you get all the health buffs telling us how bad this and that is. If you are watching what you eat then DON\\'T EAT THEM. Let the rest of us enjoy our food with out you in our ears.

This recipe is great. I married a 100% Italian (and I am not). I altered the recipe to have procuitto, salami, provolone, mozzarella, and pesto sauce. My mother in law questioned if I really am Italian!!!

you really cant go wrong with crescent rolls. they always taste awesome. they were a little salty for me, and i had to take the fat off the prosciutto ( i have a thing with fat ). but other than that... the prep time was minimal. the cook time was about 12minutes. easy to make. just make sure you cut them into lices of 5 per roll. or they will be huge, like mine.

The pinwheels were a great hit at the superbowl party that I made them for. They were gone within the first 25 minutes that I put them out. I would recommend using a cooked ham though. The combination of the proschutto and feta cheese made the dish very salty. I am definately going to cook these again. I will try using a quality deli ham such as a honey baked ham, thinly sliced.
Preparation was very simple and the short cooking time worked out great. Another suggestion as well, if you are taking them to a party other than your house, take them uncooked and cook them at the party so they are fresh out of the oven. I had to transport them for about 30 minutes. They were still really good, however, I tasted them right out of the oven and they were noticebly better hot.

Nice, easy, and very delicious recipe. I didn\'t have fresh basil, some dried basil worked just fine. I went so far as to sprinkle a bit of dried basil on top for garnish after cooking.

yummy, easy and a lot of room for experimentation, maybe no meat and add a veggie, or perhaps try one of the myriad cheeses that are so delicious out of the Med\', yummmmmmm.

Actually, this is really similar to another recipe that I think is lighter and tastier. Use puffed pastry, cut one sheet in half, layer it with slices of prosciutto (about 4oz.) gruyere cheese (about 8oz.) and fresh basil, roll long end of pastry so you have a tube, cut into 1/2 inch pieces, cook at 375 until puffed and light brown and they\\'re good to go.

My wife made me these for dinner. I ate them all and drank 12 Blue Moons and I was in heaven. Unfortunately, I also had bad gas during the night as I slept and my wife got so mad at me that she never came home from work. Now I drink 24 Blue Moons and just go to bed.

Unfortunatly, some of us have to "obsess" about the carbs. Being a diabetic I need to monitor my carb intake.
The dish looks great though.

I made these for a wine tasting party I had!! I first tried them on my fiance and we changed things up a bit. They were easy and a HUGE hit for the wine tasting party. I set them out as appetizers and used them for pairing with the wine - they were FANTASTIC!!

Loved them. Made them as a theme dinner with a greek salad and olives. I think it is about fun and being different. I try to let my children taste different types of food. This was a big hit for a 12 and also the 4 year old.
