  • Low cal version

    ocean_lvr1 - March 10, 2007 05:06:28 PM PST
Going to try it and cut the calories. Being a cinnamon freak, this looks like a version of a cinnabun. With all the fat and carbs, coronary in a breakfast meal, lol!

Will try it making my own icing by using skim milk, a tad of XXXX sugar and cutting it with Splenda. I also have sugar free maple syrup, again the Splenda type. And light whipping cream to reduce the fat cals. Will also try the light version of the Cinnamon Rolls. Maybe shave a couple hundred cals off, with luck.

Some say, who cares. But my problem is I could devore the whole thing, so I need to make it lighter. It does look good tho.

  • Just a bit to much

    Pat P - August 25, 2007 07:32:41 PM PST
We have made this dish several times (I am making it for Sunday brunch after church tomorrow) but found the 1 cup of maple syrup to be to intense. I cut it down to 1/4 cup and that seemed to be just nice. I am trying it using the cinnamon roll pieces that are out in the 'fridge section of the stores here now.
