Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray cookie sheets with cooking spray. In large bowl, break up cookie dough. Stir or knead in cornmeal until well blended. Shape rounded tablespoon of dough around each candy, covering completely. On cookie sheets, place 2 inches apart.
  2. Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 10 minutes.
  3. In small microwavable bowl, place baking chips and shortening. Microwave on High 30 to 45 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds, until smooth. Stir in ground red pepper. Drizzle glaze over cookies.

Yield: 20 servings

3. Still Hungry?

Refrigerated cookie dough makes quick work of wrapping a chocolate surprise in each cookie.

Wrapping pre-made cookie mix around mini candy bars! I was extremely disappointed and disillusioned but the faux recipe. F-you Pillsbury!

ukogb--the "filling" is the dark chocolate candy miniatures (Like Hershey\'s miniature candy bars)

Wrap the cookie dough around the candy bars, when the cookie bakes the candy will melt to make the filling.
