In a medium bowl, use a fork to gently combine beef, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
Gently form mixture into four 1-inch-thick patties.
Place patties on hottest part of grill; sear until browned, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Move patties to cooler part of grill; continue grilling until desired doneness, 4 to 8 minutes per side.
Ok, so if you follow this recipe you got a decent burger. Not exactly rocket science...
But a "best" burger? Not by a longshot.
First off, using ground chuck will never result in the best burger possible. Ground fatty sirloin (choice angus preferably) is used in the nation\\'s top burger joints for a reason.
Worsteshire sauce is always a solid choice for beef. Dijion a decent choice as well. But black pepper, onion/garlic powders, and perhaps your favorite hot sauce are never bad additions either.
What about the diced onions, the bread crumbs, parsley, egg, salt, pepper... Don\\'t think Martha is a true Burger person...Quiche... maybe... Bugers ...NO
