Who says pasta has to be Italian? This quick meal will have them asking for seconds!

Notes:

Substitute

Substitute lean ground beef for the chicken. Omit oil. Brown meat and drain before adding peppers.

Food Facts

Chili powder is a powdered seasoning mix that is available in the spice aisle of your grocery store. Despite the name, it's not hot and spicy, but it does add lots of Tex-Mex flavor.

  • Husband prepared, wife approved...

Painlessly easy to make. As instructed took about 10 minutes total, including a trip to the grocery store while the water was heating up.

My wife is real picky, and even she loved it.

My only substitution for making it easier still was frozen skinless chicken breast. Microwave them to heat them up, then cut up and throw in the pan with oil and sauce ingredients. Definately getting saved for future use.

This was one of the easiest to prepare and one of the best meals I make for my family. I actually have to make double for later.

My family loved it! If your family likes tacos this is sure to be a hit.
And the kids got to have the tostito scoops with it, which always makes it a fun meal for them.

  • Excellent, quick dish that family will love

The dish was easy to make. I didn\'t have quite enough of zesty italian dressing on hand so I just used what I had. I added a little extra salsa and sour cream to make it a little more creamy. I also added onion, green pepper and brocolli florets. My family loved it. Definitely goes into my recipe folder.
