I thought this was a great idea, along with the rice and vegetable.

  • Quick, Tasty Comfort Food

I agree I hate the picture, but I gave the recipe a try. It was basically a huge cheeseburger. From the billions of dollars being made selling cheeseburgers, I\'d say I\'m not alone in enjoying this taste.
It\'s a Kraft recipe, so expect them to suggest their own products. I used a 93% fat free ground beef, whole wheat saltine crackers, a French dijon mustard, and of course the ketchup I had on hand topped off with Colby cheese. Next time I\'d like to add some onions and maybe a little chopped dill pickle. You can make this as healthy or as fat full as you wish. It\'s simple enough to substitute low fat cheese and low carb .ketchup. I already substituted healthier meat and crackers. As far as the sides, I did jasmine rice and a mixture of Birds Eye Steamfresh Vegetables. With forty minutes in the oven, there\'s no need for a quick rice as a side. If you\'re a fries kind of a person, go for fries and maybe cole slaw with it.
Easy and basic is not evil. Every night doesn\'t have to be a Beef Wellington night.

  • Yuk!

I agree with the other reviewer that said this looks like dog food
and the topping also looks fake - or just plain gross!

I like meatloaf but this one is a turn off big time. It so needs
jazzing up to begin to make it even look like something I would
    want to try.

Sorry for the rough review but I had to be truthful.

  • Meatloaf!

This was a hit at my house. I changed the recipe a bit. I didn\'t use the ketchup, and used wostershire sauce instead. Next time I wll also add horse radish and finely chopped red onion. I will make this again and again.

  • Yummy.... but I have an even better one.....

This sounds really good... but I think everyone has their own meatloaf recipe that they like... I have my grandmothers and I never stray from the core ingriedients! But I take cheese and cut it into small rectangular blocks and push them down into the meatloaf. This way it melts inside as you cook it and you get a bite of melted gooey cheese in your bite! It is delicious. Also, I cut open my favorite french or sourdough bread loaf, hollow out the bottom half, and form the meat into the bottom half, inserting the cheese and then placing the top half of the bread back on top! You then want to wrap the bread in foil and cook for about and hour. When it is done you just slice the bread and enjoy! my kids love this one!
