Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Cut potatoes into 1/2-inch-thick strips; place in large bowl. Add dressing and cheese; toss to coat. Place in single layer on large greased baking sheet.
  2. Bake 12 min. Meanwhile, coat chicken strips with coating mix as directed on package.
  3. Turn potatoes over with large spatula; push to one side of baking sheet. Place chicken strips on other side of baking sheet. Bake an additional 15 min. or until potatoes are tender and chicken is cooked through. Mix mustard and honey; serve for dipping.

Yield: 4 servings

3. Still Hungry?

Who doesn't love crispy fries and chicken strips? This version is 'fried' in the oven, but everyone will think you've ordered in!

Notes:

Serving Suggestion

For a creamy dip, mix honey mustard mixture with 1/4 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing.

  • Big hit with the grandkids!

My youngest granddaughter just loves chicken nuggets but when I made this recipe for her she told my daughter that they have to come to my house for take-out.
For those watching calories (like me) use sweet potatoes. It's so very good and a lot less calories and you get more vitamins with the sweet potatoes. Just fix the sweet potatoes the same way you would with a regular potato. Also, I found it much more convenient to use skinless, boneless chicken strips. I buy a big bag when the grocery store has buy one get one free!
I just love this recipe and all the other ones too! This is the best place on the internet to get any recipe you're looking!!!

omit the SHAKE 'N BAKE and make your own coating and this will be a much healthier dinner. Easy doesn't have to be unhealthy
