1. Ingredients

  1. 4 cups chopped green cabbage
  2. 2 medium carrots, sliced
  3. 2 medium celery stalks, sliced
  4. 1 medium onion, chopped
  5. 1 (10 ounce) package frozen green beans, thawed slightly
  6. 1 (15.5 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained, rinsed
  7. 6 cups water
  8. 2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
  9. 2 cups canned crushed tomatoes, undrained
  10. 1 envelope GOOD SEASONS Italian Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix

2. Cooking Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in 6- or 8-qt. stockpot.
  2. Bring to boil on high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  3. Simmer 30 min. or until vegetables are tender.

Yield: 14 servings

    this is very similar to my pennsylvainia dutch herritage recipe but we add corned beef...yummy with or without. this is also very inexpensive to make and one of my favorites, highly recomended.
