We tried it and it tasted just fine.
We did change Velveta to Cheddar - couldn\'t help improving it a bit :-)

It is about the kids

Sometimes, guys, really, it is not about us. Try to make something the kids like for once. For myself, I agree with all the food snobbery. Mmost kids, I have found, don\'t give a rats *ss about what is supposed to be cool, hip, and sophisticated, they just want food they like. Sick as it sounds, my kids love the Velveeta, and so do the friends who come over. They turn their little noses up to my fancey Greek or French or whatever dishes.

I agree, but instead of cheddar, we used mozzarella. I guess it\'s your own preference. :)

Came out bland

I made this for Thanksgiving. This dish came out very bland. My husband likes it, but he smothers the potatoes in gravy. I will try something different next time.
