  • Too much salt, season your own beef

    Betho, Botti - January 8, 2008 11:17:48 AM PST
The sodium content of a package of taco seasoning is outrageous and there's no magic mix of spices you can't figure out on your own. Instead of making your taco meat swim in salty packaged seasoning, mix in a little water, alot of chili powder and cumin, sea salt to taste, garlic powder. Sure it may not coat the meat with a thick sauce, but it will taste similar and be a heck of alot better for you. Cheaper too.
