Great meal!!! I would suggest to skip the bacon though...add a little garlic and some green or red peppers for some real Italian flavor :)

some fiber and some fat ... skip the bacon and lower the fat content and you have a great meal that is also good for you !

This makes a *great* meal -- it\\\'s easy, fast, and it\\\'s "real food." I served it with a tossed salad dressed with a simple vinaigrette and my husband and I enjoyed it very much.

My husband and I loved this meal. We didn\\\'t add as much sout cream as it called for but it still came out tasty.

  • Quick but not tasty

    villagirl88 - June 16, 2008 01:39:50 PM PST
It came together speedy, but the taste was horrible. My daughter refused to eat it after one bite and my husband was relieved when I said I would never make it again. Since it was shrimp, and I hated to throw it out, I tried it again the next day for lunch... with hot sauce. It literally made me gag. Looks pretty, was easy, but tasted gross.

Peas with shrimp and marinara sauce. Make Shrimp Scampi from scratch. Fast and delicious.
