I'm not a big fan of cheese cakes but this recipe changed my mind. It has chocolate and I love chocolate but watch out for the amount of chocolate . It might be a little bit overpowering if you are not a huge lover of chocolate. Love this recipe.

  • Awesome!!!

    bgarg - October 7, 2007 05:01:42 PM PST
This is a delicious cheesecake recipe and what a crowd pleaser! My family gave it a 10! The taste and presentation were terrific! I baked the cheesecake in a water bath (placed my springform pan on top of foil and wrapped the foil up the sides of the springform pan and then baked it on a baking sheet with ~ 1 inch of hot water surrounding it) for a beautifully smooth, crack-free top.

This recipe was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely make this again for company. A little piece goes a long way as it is very rich.

  • chocolate is not a good cure for depression!!

    illputaspellonu0429 - March 20, 2008 02:02:49 PM PST
I have never tried the recipe, but anything that contains that many calories has to be delicious....or maybe not....might result in heart-attacks and maybe lead to more depression....or death....u know because obesity is bad and cheesecake doesn't help...at all!! There is protein in there so that might be kind of good....but it is till cheesecake! and one gram of fiber (no i do not always use proper grammer!! or spellingggggggg!!! Tacke thit mrs pual!!)

  • One of the easiest cheese cakes you

    g_vanloon - January 2, 2008 11:05:14 AM PST
I made this cheese cake for three parties and it was a huge hit. It is truly one of the easiest cheese cake recipes i've ever done. May i recommend using the semi sweet chocolate chip morsels.
Thanks so much for an amazing and easy cheese cake recipe.

  • Success first time around

    zeemax03 - November 26, 2007 09:22:20 AM PST
First time making any cheesecake and it came out perfectly just like the picture. Very yummy and very rich - no need to cut big slices. Everyone raved about it at the party.

  • Great!

    Nikki - March 12, 2007 10:16:32 PM PST
This was my first time ever making cheesecake, and it turned out great! My only problem was getting the crust out of the pan. It is pretty chocolate-y though, so it may not be for someone who doesn't like things too sweet.
