  • Awesome and easy!

this is a great recipe and takes NO time to do!! It really is an amazing dish. I used store bought bread crumbs and the exact recipe and it turned out soooo good. It looked, smelled and tasted better than what you get at most restaurants.

  • tasted pretty good

Mine didnt turn out so \'crispy\' but was definitely tender and parmesan-y. Will try it with other breadings - maybe adding a little dry ranch to the breadcrumbs.

  • One of our favorites

    Aimee - January 18, 2008 05:32:43 PM PST
On of my girlfriends made this one night when we were still in college. It became an instant hit with all of us and we all still use this recipe regularly many years later. It is so easy and pairs well with everything. I\'ve put it over salads, over pasta, with rice and couscous. If there are leftovers I make chicken parmigiana with it too.

  • add seasonings

    Ro - January 16, 2008 12:02:29 PM PST
If you add some Italian seasoning to the parmesan cheese and bread crumbs mixture - it gives it a little boost.
If you brown the top - you can also add some left over pasta sauce after it has finished cooking for a different taste too. Just warm up the sauce in a saucepan and after you have taken the chicken and placed it on the platter - pour the pasta sauce over the half of the top. Or I have made a sauce with wine

  • Just Great!!

    Christina R - January 13, 2008 06:31:01 PM PST
We made these tonight and served them over spaghetti with garlic bread. I used the shredded parmesan cheese instead of the Kraft (because we were out) and it came out wonderful! Rave reviews from everyone at the table, even the 2 and 5 year old!

  • the best

I reallly like this recipe, its simple and tasty. I marinated my chicken overnight for extra flavor, no need for the butter! Very easy to do on a busy weeknight. Also try pouring alfredo sauce over it for extra flavor. A real hit with the kids!

  • Looks gourmet and tastes it too!

    Bee Style - January 3, 2008 10:03:00 AM PST
This was a great recipe! The reviews were right on the money - especially the review that suggested using 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs and 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese. Also, i used black pepper AND white pepper (white pepper is a bit stronger) and the outcome was AMAZING! Cant wait to use it again.

  • Panko crumbs and Pepperoni

    Wes - July 23, 2007 03:04:30 PM PST
Another nice trick is to fry up some pepperoni in a skillet or microwave it between paper towels, drain it, make a cut in the center of the breast lengthwise, and then stuff in the pepperoni. Then prepare the breast as per the recipe.

Panko crumbs also lend a great crunch to the dish. You can find them in your Asian market or normal grocer with a large ethnic food section. Panko crumbs are also great for casserole toppings. Just shake up with some grated parmesan, and you\'ve got that perfect crunchy topping like Stouffer\'s.

I made this a little bit differently and it was great. I sliced the chicken and combined it with fettucinni and canned alfredo sauce. Very good and very easy!

  • great easy recipe

    LaDonna D - March 7, 2007 06:19:59 AM PST
I made this one last night. Instead of butter I used olive oil and added some minced garlic to it. I also had marinated the chicken for a while in a mixture of olive oil, italian seasonings, and Allegro for chicken. It turned out great...very moist.

  • Good grief!

    textibule - January 20, 2008 05:59:03 AM PST
Why anyone would use canned factory-packaged parmesan when the real thing is available is beyond me. Oh wait! I see the \'sponsored by Kraftfoods\' label on the top of the page. Silly me.
