Special Extra
Sprinkle with 1 tsp. dried cranberries or raisins.
Due to the fact I didn't have any cereal in the house I just followed the recipe but left out the grape nuts. It was delicious!! The bananas mix well with the peanut butter. I should mention that I used crunchy peanut butter not smooth and I added the honey until the mixture was really creamy. This way the mixture spreads easily on the toast.

I have tried this since I was little. I just use creamy or crunchy peanut butter (what ever I had on hand) and then sliced a banana and put it on top of the peanut butter on the toast. I then sprinkle some cinamon on top.

i never thought about using cereal. But i love the combo of peanut butter and banana. Here's my usual morning ruitine... I take the quaker rice snacks (the large ones) put some peanut butter ontop of that then one small sliced banana and top it off with a few raisins. amazing.!!!

I have tryed this, I don't agree with the cereal, but I think you could put any cereal on it that you like. I never put sliced bananas on my toast. I always wait until the bananas are real ripe and I spread them on my toast then add honey or creamy peanut butter.

I wonder what can be used instead of that yucky cereal? No one in my house would touch that cereal with a 10 foot pole. Maybe we could use granola?
