  • Try it before you knock it

I whipped this up tonight, cause I had some keilbasa I needed to use, and also substituted chicken for the shrimp. I agree - the bbq sauce sounded funky, but i put in a lil of what i had in the fridge. I added some garlic powder, and alot of fresh ground pepper, and this quick "jambalaya" was surprizingly good. Considering the time it took to prepare (like 15 mins) it was a good recipe that I'll probably prepare again, with my own twists.

I think the good thing about food is that you can be creative and try different ingredients in your everyday food. Who said that we must follow traditional recipe. Do still wear shoes matching with bags?
Give it a try. I did it and d I love it. .I would like to congratulate Kraft for their new version of Jambalaya. I love it ;)
Sorry for my grammar mistakes, I guess it is a little better than before. I am still learning this language :)

  • tastier than it sounds

The thought of BBQ sauce in jambalaya sounded weird, but this was actually really tasty, filling, and satisfying. My husband even liked it and he's critical. Granted, to a 'TRUE' cajun cuisiniere, this wouldn't even compare, but as a very quick, throw together meal, this is pretty darn good. Don't judge this recipe until you try it out and as recipes aren't etched in stone, you can always modify the recipe to your liking.
