1. Ingredients

  1. 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
  2. 1 medium green pepper, sliced
  3. 1 small onion, sliced
  4. 1 1/2 cups water
  5. 2 cups rotini pasta, uncooked
  6. 1 (26 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  7. 1 cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Reduced Fat Mozzarella Cheese

2. Cooking Directions

  1. Spray large skillet with cooking spray. Add chicken; cook and stir on medium-high heat 5 min. Add green pepper and onion; cook and stir an additional 3 to 5 min. or until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender.
  2. Add water. Bring to boil; reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in pasta, making sure pasta is covered with water; cover. Simmer 15 min. or until pasta is tender.
  3. Stir in sauce. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Reduce heat to low; continue cooking 5 min. or until cheese is melted and mixture is heated through.

Yield: 4 servings

Notes:

Great Substitute

Substitute 1 lb. Italian sausage, crumbled, or lean ground beef for chicken.

Take a Shortcut

Substitute 2 pkg. (6 oz. each) OSCAR MAYER Grilled Chicken Breast Strips for cooked fresh chicken pieces. Add with spaghetti sauce; continue as directed.

    Made it for my boyfriend and my mom and it was easy. i\'m new to cooking and i was able to do this one without much help from my mom! i would definitely double the recipe, it says it\'ll serve 4 but it barely fed the 3 of us! my mom made it for dinner tonight but don\'t add too much cheese as the sauce seems to thicken up quite a bit! very good, very easy!
