The texture was crunchy in places and the taste was, "Wow."
I used brown sugar instead of white sugar.
I will make it again and pass the receipe on to my friends.

I tried the recipe but I did not like the cereal in it. I put nutmeg as well as a little cinnamon to spice it up a little.

Apparently the reviews that I read were negative from a bunch of whiners. I liked the recipie. And yes I will make it again.

Wow. You guys need to lighten up. As one who bakes for family members with nut allergies, I have learned to OMIT THE NUTS. This is not rocket science. In this instance, one would need to substitute a different cereal (perhaps Bran Flakes or Frosted Flakes or Post Toasties), too, but this is not a big deal. Regarding the advertisements, what does one expect? Should Kraft use a competitor\'s products to assure a leval playing field? Wow. This is meant to be a forum for recipe ideas, not a political stage. I\'m continually amazed at what silly things become issues. Really, it is no wonder our society is the way it is. I will try this recipe as printed AND with substitutes, and I\'ll report back soon. Life is good.

I really enjoyed this recipe.....it was so nice to get the crunch from the cereal that you d not get from usual recipes. I have been making banana bread for years...and this is one I will make again.....and the cereal is awesome too.
