1. Ingredients

  1. 12 OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies , crushed
  2. 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  3. 2 (8 ounce) containers PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Spread
  4. 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  5. 4 (1 ounce) squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted
  6. 1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

2. Cooking Directions

  1. Mix crushed cookies and the butter in foil-lined 9-inch square pan. Press firmly onto bottom of pan to form crust.
  2. Beat cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed until creamy. Gradually add milk, mixing well after each addition. Blend in chocolate. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spoon over crust; cover.
  3. Freeze at least 6 hours or overnight. Remove from freezer 15 min. before serving to soften slightly. Cut into 16 squares to serve. Store leftover dessert in freezer.

Yield: 16 servings

Easy Cleanup

Place cookies in resealable plastic bag. Seal bag, removing all air. Crush cookies with rolling pin or wooden spoon. No mess to clean up!

    They came out pretty well. I used lite butter,lite whipped cream,and reduced fat oreos to cut the calories. I would say that 12 oreos is a little on the shallow side. Maybe next time I\'ll use 16ish.

    I agree with "tasty" that 16 oreos is perfect (and my pan was just under 9" square). The squares were just a little too "thick". Therefore, I would recommend using slightly less of the sweetened condensed milk - like, 10 oz. instead of the entire 14 oz. jar. Finally, I used a pyrex dish and did not line with foil - and the squares came out of the pan just fine.
