1. Ingredients

  1. 1 envelope GOOD SEASONS Italian Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix
  2. 1/4 cup water
  3. 1/4 cup white vinegar
  4. 1/4 cup oil
  5. 3 medium pears, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
  6. 1 (8 ounce) package mixed salad greens
  7. 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  8. 1/4 cup chopped toasted PLANTERS Walnuts

2. Cooking Directions

  1. Place dressing mix, water and vinegar in cruet or container with tight-fitting lid. Add oil; cover. Shake until well blended.
  2. Pour 1/4 cup of the dressing over pears in large salad bowl; toss to coat. Let stand 15 min.
  3. Add greens, cranberries, walnuts and remaining dressing; toss lightly. Serve immediately.

Yield: 10 servings

3. Still Hungry?

Pears, dried cranberries and toasted walnuts are tossed with mixed greens and Italian dressing for a splendid cold-weather salad.

Notes:

Variation

Substitute dried cherries for the cranberries and PLANTERS Pecans for the walnuts.
