1. Ingredients

  1. 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  2. 1/4 cup chopped onion
  3. 2 tablespoons flour
  4. 2 1/2 cups milk
  5. 3/4 pound VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product , cut up
  6. 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
  7. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

2. Cooking Directions

  1. Melt butter in large saucepan on medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Add flour; cook 1 minute or until bubbly, stirring constantly.
  2. Stir in milk. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 1 minute.
  3. Add remaining ingredients. Cook until VELVEETA is melted and soup is heated through, stirring occasionally.

Yield: 6 servings

    I made this a few weeks ago and it was yummy. It was also easy to prepare, which is nice with a toddler cruising around. Great easy soup for a cold winters night!!
