  1. 3 cups cold milk
  2. 2 pkg. (4 serving size) JELL-O Banana Cream Flavor Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
  3. 1 (8 ounce) tub COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
  4. 30 NILLA Wafers
  5. 3 medium bananas, sliced

Cooking Directions

  1. Pour milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. Let stand 3 minutes. Gently stir in 1-1/2 cups of the whipped topping.
  2. Place 15 of the wafers on bottom of 2-quart serving bowl. Top with half each of the bananas and pudding mixture. Repeat layers ending with pudding mixture. Cover with remaining whipped topping.
  3. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve.

Yield: 14 servings

    Traditional southern banana pudding is cooked pudding with baked merigue on top. Use lo-fat milk and sugar substitute if you must, but NOT instant pudding.
