I substituted 1 cup of blueberries and left out the chocolate chips, and added 2 teaspoons of sugar to the batter. These were great!! Incredibly light and fluffy.

  • husband looking forward to the next time we have them

    redhead7x - February 16, 2007 10:53:55 AM PST
This was easy and quick to make and it was "just enough" for my husband and I for dinner. He had never had chocolate-chip pancakes before and is looking forward to the next time we have them.

  • easier way

    LIL H - January 12, 2008 07:30:45 AM PST
instead of addin the choc chips and fruit etc to the mix, just make a basic pancake mix, and when you pour the mix into the pan, add the extras then, n flip when ready

then your going to get as much or as little fruit and stuff in your pancake depending on your tastes

i like to have lots of bowls of stuff when i am making them for the kids raisins, nuts, banana, sliced apple, choc chips, etc

an the kids get to pick what they want

Uhm, I like the part of ingredients and all methods but I dislike the method which asked me to preheat the oven at 200 oF.

It was amazing! I definitley recommend this to people that like different flavors. I had never tried raspberry in a pancake before, but I loved it and think you should try it.

  • looks yummy...still waiting for them to cook!

    Merry K - May 13, 2007 09:27:08 AM PST
Easy to do but a little confused at first as to what to do with the 3/4 cup milk and the 3 tbsp of milk...since it\'s never mentioned again except in the ingredients list.

We added the small amount of milk to the butter and then whisked the eggs and the larger amount of milk together before adding the warm mixture so we wouldn\'t cook the eggs.

  • similar but differant

    ziggystardust22 - September 4, 2007 03:59:18 PM PST
i recommend for a quicker pancake to buy whole grain pancake mix and just throw in a ton of sliced bananas and thinly sliced apple chunks. the apples taste like baked ones and are delicious. be sure to avoid undercooking the pancakes, as they may become rather thick. this scrumptious concoction tastes awesome with blueberry/raspberry syrup and is very healthy.
