This stuff may be edible but is a pale comparison to my favorite Cincinnati Chil, being Skyline. As any native from the Queen City will tell you, our chili is unique, so much so that I have it shipped to Mo. This is good but not great ! And besides, who would want to put this on a coney or over pasta?

I am sure this is wondeful chili. But as a native from Cinti, now relocated but still remember our wonderful chili and this is not it. What I wouldnt give for a bowl of Cinti . chili :)

Despite this not being true to the Gold Star or Skyline Chili style, it has the same key ingredients which is cocoa and cinnamon (two ingredients most west coast folk find odd).
And yes, 'Nati folk seem to find it weird when corn bread or scones with chili is mentioned, but you ought to give it a try. This chili goes EXTREMELY well with corn bread or scones, something most east coast folk tend to miss out on. Also goes far better with corn bread or scones than with noodles, like at Skyline Chili.
Anyway, bottom line...this chili is an IMPROVEMENT on Skyline and Gold Star chili. At least that's my opinion. And DEFINITELY try chili (especially this kind) with corn bread or scones. Put some on top of your scone with tomatoes, olives, lettuce, salsa, sour cream and enjoy a west coast style navajo taco. Mmmm Mmm.
