So go back to France then. I think it looks delicious and I know I love all the ingredients. It's not an artwork, it's food. I personally can't wait to whip up a batch to share with all my American Friends. Peace Out.

Although I couldn't find the comment written by the French person that caused all the 'controversy', please let me say that not all French people are food snobs and/or critical of tuna salad recipes... I'm embarrassed that a French person has been such an awful representative of a culture that actually DOES have many lovely and polite people in it! (and which loves good old tuna salad!!!) Thanks...

Hey Frenchy, food is suppose to "taste" good not so much "look" good. You should know that coming from a country where snails are on the menu!

To the person who made the stupid comment about the ingredients being unbalanced,,,,u are not a foodie. This is a simple sandwich,,,get a life. I cant wait to mak some,,,and I will tell you how tasty it was.
oh and Frenchy,,,read this,,,,because i think u missed it
Our tuna salad has a Mediterranean twist: olives and roasted red peppers. Have this sandwich for lunch at home or work or on a picnic, served with a tomato salad.
nothing about France was indicated. No one was thinking about the french.

Huh, Huh, Huh Stupid Americans, You forget the most important step. You firts must place the baguette in your putrid unwashed French armpits let ferment for serval days then serve! Viola!

She's not the queen of France i promise. This recipe is pretty goo, although i replaced the lettuce with some baby spinach. Makes a REALLY good tuna melt as well.

I am interested in what the French lady would do to make the recipe look and taste better? I'm not being sarcastic. After reading your review I'd like to know. How do you think someone in France would modify the recipe. Just assuming there had to have been a reason you clicked on it in the first place. What would you do different? Make it on a croissant?

Wow frenchy, I completely disagree with your point of view. If this sandwich was a painting, it would be abstract, and if this were the case it would be well balanced. A good food Crit would realize that this sandwich does not need it's plate painted to look appetizing, and mind you my mouth is watering at the site of this amazing yet simple dish.
Bonn Appetit!
