    The French colonial rule influenced Vietnamese cuisine. It was one of the original examples of fusion cooking. Your, oh so, indignant comment just highlights your ignorance.

    totally agreed with Henry on take off colonial crap.
    I agree the bread originate from French, but over the years...It\\'s Viet\\'s style and flavor that masterize the bread...Plus I am not sure about the shrimp is good with Banh Mi. The real Banh Mi, We serve with home made Bate, home made butter, roasted slice pork, tra lua, and veggies

    UMMMMM OF ALL MY YEARS EATING THIS AT LOCAL ASIAN MARKETS...I HAVE NEVER SEEN SHRIMP PUT INTO THIS SANDWICH?? DO U KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING?
