This recipe was awesome... but i would recomment to use a spice like garlic powder in place of or with the pepper. I didn\'t use the pepper, and mixed the garlic powder with the salt and flour, and also sprinkled some in while the chicken was cooking. The end result was delicious!
I used white wine for the pan sauce at the end...was great!

We prepare ouur chicken the same way - the garlic powder helps as well and our kids really like it this way. Also, we saute some baby bella mushrooms and zucchini slices with some cooking wine and round out the meal that way. As a matter of fact - this was our menu for tonight... :-)

I\\\'ve made chicken this way for years. Served with mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and coleslaw...makes this one of our family\\\'s favorite meals.
Here\\\'s 3 derivations: use potato flakes instead of flour. This takes a little more oil but if the oil is good and hot when putting chicken breasts in the pan, drain on a paper towel for a minute and it turns out crispy and not greasy.
#2 Add poultry seasoning to the spices.
#3 And for the reviewer that fries in bacon grease, there is a terrific new product called Bacon Salt that comes in 4 different flavors. Adds the flavor of bacon but not the saturated fats.

When you marinate your chicken add some spicy mustard to your marinade. It really tastes good when you mix spicy mustard and honey then grill chicken, the flavor goes through out the chicken and makes it a really pretty color. Enjoy.

I make this for my kids all the time but I use adobo which is basically a Spanish seasoning that has salt, garlic, pepper and turmeric. Mrs. Dash works great too.

I used 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper added 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay (seafood seasoning), added all three straight to flour and stirred in, gives it a very light pop/zest if your flavor pallet doesn\'t like just salt and pepper foods. I did not try it as its shown, as I know what I like, but it did come out excellent, and is probably a fine meal as is!

Sprinkle any spices on the chicken before dredging in the flour. If you do not, the spices, tend to brown very quickly, and you end up with more burned bits in the oil. Also, make sure the oil does not completely cover the chicken so moisture can escape on the top surface. This helps you avoid the crust coming off.
Happy eating.

I loved the chicken! It\'s extremly simple, fast, and fun. I\'m only 14 and I made it fine. I added the garlic and it did taste better. I had green beans, corn, and salad as side dishes with it. Also for more flavor I added salad dressing as a dipping sauce.
