  1. 10 cups chicken broth, homemade or reduced-sodium canned
  2. 3 medium carrots, peeled and diced
  3. 1 large stalk celery, diced
  4. 3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
  5. 6 cloves garlic, minced
  6. 4 ounces dried egg noodles
  7. 4 cups shredded cooked skinless chicken
  8. 3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  9. 1 tablespoon lemon juice, or to taste

2. Cooking Directions

  1. Bring broth to a boil in a Dutch oven. Add carrots, celery, ginger and garlic; cook, uncovered, over medium heat until vegetables are just tender, about 20 minutes.
  2. Add noodles and chicken; continue cooking until the noodles are just tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in dill and lemon juice.

Yield: 9 servings

    thanks for this recipe i got a good grade for it. because im doing a projected in scienem with dill and i found a recipe that i like and the class likes. i made this chicken noodle soup and brought it to school and it was really good that they all wanted me to make more for them. the good things was that i made it when it was really cold outside and when they went out they didnt feel a thing. then one person tried to push me to give him more.

    I love the recipe, but I usually add other ingrediants such as dumplings for that southern taste. Anyways, I love making it and my family loves it when I cook it!
