I made mine without pine nuts because I don\'t care for them. Also, I added a little maple syrup to the balsamic sauce, about a tablespoon.
You can eat them like this, or chop the asparagus and serve with rice.
Excellent side dish.

I made this recipe exactly as is except no pine nuts. This was a fabulous side dish and the best asparagus I\'ve ever made. This is the way I will make it from now on-my hubby also loved it.
