  4. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  5. 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  6. 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  7. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  8. 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
  9. 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  10. 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives

Cooking Directions

  1. Place beans, yogurt, feta, lemon juice, garlic salt and pepper in a food processor and puree until smooth. Add herbs; puree until incorporated. Chill until ready to serve.

Yield: 8 servings

Lots of freshly chopped herbs add zing to our white bean dip. Serve with assorted vegetables, such as baby carrots, bell pepper strips, radishes, snow peas, broccoli and cauliflower florets.

  • A tad bit too salty...

    I don't normally follow recipes to the T, but I did for this one since it was new to me. The flavor was good but it was waaaaaaay too salty. Feta is naturally a bit salty and adding the garlic salt, that the recipe suggests, was merely overkill in the salt department. I would suggest replacing the teaspoon of garlic salt with a teaspoon of regular garlic powder, to make a less salty version.

  • Sounds good, but the title is misleading

    This sounds terrific...but the recipe for "Feta and Herb Dip with Crudites" does not include the crudites. Why not simply call it "Feta and Herb Dip"--which is what it is--if you're not going to include all of the ingredients? I really hate to be snipy, but...
