Mustard powder, dill weed, garlic powder, and onion flakes are combined in this amazing egg salad. I've always had rave reviews of this great sandwich salad.
Note
If using promptly, begin by placing onion flakes in a small bowl and adding 1/4 cup hot water. Let sit 10 minutes, or until soft. Drain and discard the water, then add the rest of the ingredients to the onion, blending well.
I changed the recipe around. I added a stalk of celery and some spicy mustard. It was very tasty on fresh baked bread, some lettuce and salt/pepper.
will make again.

Very tasty, guess the calorie count would fluctuate depending on the amount of salad you stuff into the sandwich.

I like my egg salad sandwiches with a little extra in them! I like to add tuna. If you have a couple of slices of tomato too! Yummy!

Egg salad is egg salad...as is tuna salad, or chicken salad. Maybe it's a mid-west thing where eggs are always thrown into the "salad". Where's the hate coming from? Especially when you can't spell sandwich right..horsy lover...Don't hate! Mayo, mustard, relish, eggs and dill...Golden salad. Fresh tomatoe, cukes and lettuce is a beautiful lunch.

Whenever I hear that some particular food or some particular recipe has "too many calories", the first thing that I want to do is either make it at home or get in line to order some from a shop, cafe or restaurant! I guess I'll be making this Egg Salad tonight and enjoying it by the spoonful and on sandwiches over the weekend!!! Think I'll even try adding sliced tomatoes to one of the sandwiches as well as lettuce or arugula leaves ... I'll be making it tonight for the first time, but I'm EXPECTING a 4-star experience! :-)
