Chicken, vegetable and noodle soup pretty much from scratch, but still a quick and essential part of your repertoire.
This chicken noodle soup is easy, tastes like you spend hours preparing. I can't say enough good things about the recipe! Just try it and you'll be happy!!

C'mon how many people have 4 cups of chopped cooked chicken hanging around ? Raise your Hands ! :-))
And where does 4 cups of chopped cooked chicken come from ?
............................................... A Real Chicken !
Yes you could go to the store and get those lousy dried out
precooked chickens or worse -those tasteless chicken slices.
But rather go to the store and buy/store/freeze FRESH chicken.
Rinse the fresh chicken , remove as much skin and fat as you
dont want in the final soup , cut into pieces for even faster
cooking and for less $ and little more time you have 10x better
soup and flavor , especially without those awful boullion cubes
which anyone can read are 95% salt, cornstarch

Chicken soup is one of my favorite but I myself do not saute anything just put it in the Chicken broth that you have boiled from fresh chicken parts, thigh, legs or whole chicken, after you have taken chicken out of pot. Put in all(spices, veggies) except noodles, which I boil first and drain, then put in the all the other stuff it has simmered for a least 30 minutes to get all the flavor then put in noodles , less fat and I go lilte on salt if any for with the spices you don't need any. So good...............

A person rated this recipe who obviously had never made it. Sometimes I will have as much as 4 cups of chicken in the refrigerator because I buy a whole chicken, and my husband and I will eat just a quarter of the whole breast each. Having said that, do take a chicken and fix it by boiling it some water and add herbs to your taste. Cube the chicken. The resulting broth will give you enough liquid for this soup. I eliminate the water and the bouillion cubes. As written, this recipe is not that great, but if you make your own broth, or even use a packaged broth such as Pacific brand, organic, salt free broth, you will have a wonderful meal. I rated this using the bouillion cube, but if that is eliminated and fresh chicken broth is used the score goes up to a five star. I realize there might be times a person might not have time to prepare a chicken with broth, and the cubes make it easier, but it also really raises the salt content. My advice is to not make it unless you can use the fresh broth. It really makes a difference in the taste. Bouillion makes for a very salty, chemically tasting broth.

I have a question. Has anyone rating the reviews actually tried the receipes to see how it turns out?! Or is everyone reviewing before trying?! It's not fair to the author of the receipt to shoot it down without even trying to make it!
