Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

This cake was incredible!

This cake was so incredibly moist that it absolutely did not need any frosting. Frosting would just ruin this cake. I'm diabetic, but I made it for a Cub Scout dinner for my son's scout pack and everyone including the kids couldn't get enough. And to be honest-I had a very small piece and it was well worth the extra work to keep my sugar controlled afterwards. I'm pretty sure that this recipe will become one of my standbys when I need to bake for something.

Very good and easy to make

This cake was pretty easy to make. It was a little too-chocolatey for some (if you believe that is ever possible). I plan on making it again; it was definately a hit. Next time I won't add the coffee liqueur- I don't think it added much to the flavor. I may also cut down on the chocolate chips in efforts to cut down some of the calories... a cup should be plenty.

This cake is delicious! It's very rich, moist and chocolatey and does not need icing. Once, I dusted it with powdered sugar and that was fine, but certainly not necessary. This cake has been a huge hit everywhere I've served it.

In my understanding of the recipe, it is quite heavy in chocolates and having it with a cup of expresso while you hold it in the mouth would bring the flavour just like pralines.
