Easy to make and delicious. Vegetable broth, barley, and lots of veggies make this soup hearty and filling. I use and recommend organic products. Please add a review if you make it. Enjoy!
I really love this soup though I made a few small changes. I omitted the celery, white sugar and tomatoes, used lentils instead of canned garbanzo beans, and used 2 cloves of garlic, minced, in place of garlic powder. Using the lentils, I had to add about 2 more cups of broth. This was tasty, easy and the house smelled so good while it simmered! Just perfect in this wintry weather and very low in fat and high in all kinds of fiber. I recommend that you try this soup!
