This is my family recipe for Chicken Katsu - Japanese style fried chicken. Can also be used to make Tonkatsu, just use pork cutlets instead of chicken. Serve with white rice and tonkatsu sauce.
If you've ever had real chicken katsu in a bento box or have had it made for you then you should know its yummy good but even better with the dipping sauce called Tonkatsu sauce usually found in the asian aisle of any super market. This is an ultra yummy recipe I recommend it highly served with rice or even cut into 1 inch strips served over rice with the tonkatsu sauce drizzled on top and cole slaw on the side....MMMMMMMMMMmmmm Yum
