Your bread machine does the mixing -- all you have to do is roll out the dough, coat it with butter, cinnamon sugar and raisins or walnuts, roll it up and pop them in the oven. A powdered sugar icing seals the deal for these prize-winning rolls.
I love the way the Cinnamon Rolls tasted. even my neighbors loved it. Thanks for such a great recipie

Did not have quite enough all purpose flour to make 6 cups so added about 1/3 c. self rising flour, all I had on hand! My bread maker is a Hitachi several years old and makes a 1 1/2 lb. loaf and it most certainly did not take 6c. flour and 2c. liquid. It was not getting mixed so I dumped it into my Kitchen Aid mixer with dough hook and gradually added approx. 1/2 c. more self rising flour! I then turned it out onto floured surface and kneaded it adding about another 1/2 c, you got it, self rising flour while kneading. Obviously this was not how the recipe was intended, but I enjoyed the kneading (been a long time!) plus I was hopefully trying to salvage this! The dough was feeling nice and soft and slightly stickey, could it be, do I remember right that sweet roll dough is like that?? Just took them out of the oven with a bake time of 19 mins. and just buttered the tops ( my prefference) Wow! What a testimony to this recipe, they are wonderfull! Now if I can just screw it up again, and again!!! YUM!
