We use the lil smokies and drain off the grease about every fifteen minutes. Always a crowd-pleaser!

I've had these but they were marinading in the brown sugar for 6-8 hours or overnight before cooking them. Cooking them in the crock pot would probably have the same effect. They are awesome!!!

I cut my bacon into, wrap the bacon around the smokies and secure it with a toothpick, put them in a slow cooker and then pour the box of brown sugar over the top of it and let it cook until the bacon is cooked, its yummy!

Add a 1/2 teaspoon (or more) of cayenne pepper to the brown sugar for a little more kick.

My boyfriend's aunt made these for a super bowl party this year, and I think I ate about 20 of them. SOOOOOO delicious. Yes, it's a litte time consuming, but it's easy, AND WORTH IT.

Fat and grease? Then don't view the recipe. You're probably a closet foodie who is a snob. Why do people post negative comments? I mean, it's sausage and bacon for Pete's sake. Get over yourself.
