1. Ingredients

  1. 1 cup water
  2. 3 fresh strawberries, sliced
  3. 1 cup white sugar
  4. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  5. 1 teaspoon honey
  6. 7 cups water
  7. 1 3/4 cups fresh lemon juice
  8. 2 slices orange

2. Cooking Directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup water, strawberries, white sugar, brown sugar, and honey. Bring to a boil, and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool to room temperature, cover, and chill.
  2. In a large pitcher, mix together water, lemon juice, and orange slices. Stir in cooled syrup; chill. Serve in a tall glass over ice.

Yield: 20 servings

    Sorry 1 teaspoon is miniscule to the amounts of sugar that the name is very misleading. It's should be sugared lemonade. I wouldn't bother with the 1 teaspoon, you aren't going to taste it, it won't be missed. Save your honey for something better than this.

    well, it seems a little chunky to be lemonade. i can't imagine this being anything but a weak and watery smoothie. plus, there really is no honey - the healthiest of the three sweetners - and the brown sugar is half the amount of white sugar. plus, why are brown and white sugars both being used at all anyway?
