This is even better with a tsp. of lemon extract mixed with the apples, cinnamon, sugar, and flour with the topping.

You will enjoy the quickness as well as the taste of this dessert.

incredible! quick and easy, just what a bachelor like me likes. what i did, was to first peal the apples, and then put the apples and the skins into a pot and boiled them. put the apples in the pie and the water and the skins into a jar, and had a great pie and a whole lot of the best apple juice you ever tasted. i also played around with the juice, which was fine as it was, by throwing in some honey, and then some fresh lemon!
    thanx

I accually added about 1 tsp. nutmeg and 1/2 tsp. ginger. I just used less cinnamon. I also added a couple tbsp. flour in the mix. The topping is great with a little cinnamon sprinkled in it.
