These cookies are great... If you like Snickerdoodles give these a try! I am by no means a cook and they came out awesome! I would also suggest taking the cookies out of the oven a little before you think they are done. Enjoy!

  • Correction on that cookie

    M M - November 9, 2006 06:25:34 PM PST
A serving is one cookie, not 4 dozen. It serves 48 people there was just an error in how they worded it. If youeat 48 cookies and expect only 4g of fat, ur not going to fit in those pants for much longer. Other than that, these are the best

  • Potential Alternative

I was out of baking soda at my house, so instead I substituted 1/4 a teaspoon of baking powder instead; the cookies turned out super soft and more raised than in the picture, but delicious nonetheless. Great recipe!

  • Awesome!

These cookies are fantastic. Neither I nor my husband are big fans of snickerdoodles, but we LOVE these cookies. I did alter the recipe a bit though. Try adding a box of vanilla pudding mix to the flour mixture, I think it makes the cookie a bit more moist. Either way, they are easy to make and very tasty, especially with a mug of tea or coffee in the afternoon.

Cream of Tartar is fine and powdery and can be found in any grocery store on the aisle with the spices.

  • good recipe

    sbs94596 - December 16, 2006 06:46:06 PM PST
if you have a "hot" oven, bake them at 375 degrees. also-8 min. is better than 10. its better if these are not crisp.

  • Awesome

These cookies are the bomb & what's really great is you can eat 4 dozen of them and only have 4 grams of fat. That's only 1 gram of fat per dozen...these are the only cookies I'm ever eating again!!

  • THEY ARE AWFULL......

    NAY - May 6, 2007 02:36:19 PM PST
I FOLLOWED THE RECIPE PRECISELY. THE COOKIES CAME OUT LIKE BISCUITS, VERY DRY, AND BAKED TO FAST ON THE BOTTOM. I DID NOT BAKE THE REST OF THE DOUGH JUST TRASHED IT. WASTE OF TIME.

  • These Cookies Are Horrible!!!!

    idahormp - November 27, 2006 03:35:34 PM PST
Maybe I did something wrong, but I made these cookies twice and they were horrible both times. They have no flavor to them even with the cinnamon & sugar, although the batter was great.
