Before the 100 contestants gather to prepare their dishes, five semitrailers arrive at the loading dock, with 130 ranges, 25 refrigerator freezers, 20 microwave ovens and 102 cabinets.
Tens of thousands entered original recipes in the following five categories. One overall winner will be chosen in each category, and one of the recipe category winners will be chosen as the grand prize winner. An example of a suitable recipe is provided in each category below.
Casual brunch or weekend family breakfast ideas. For example, sweet rolls, breakfast breads or egg dishes.
