Since 1949, the Pillsbury Bake-Off® Contest has recognized and rewarded creative home cooks across America.
In a suspenseful awards ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas on April 15, 2008, Carolyn Gurtz was named the million-dollar grand-prize winner for her recipe, Double-Delight Peanut Butter Cookies, in the 43rd Pillsbury Bake-Off® Contest. Seven other finalists also received awards at the ceremony.
