I agree with Peanut... go spam somewhere else! Anyways, yeah, most of the information in the article is already common knowledge. Just remember to eat breakfast, eat food that's high in fiber, exercise, and eat your vegetables, like Mom always said!

If only all these foods were cheaper, I would rather spend $1 at Mcdonals then buying avocado worth $4 a lb..avocado grow in Hawaii I don't know why they make it so expensive...also, if I were Obama, all Healthy food, vegetables, fruits, nuts, lean meat etc. will be made affordable for the people of USA...this way, everyone will eat healthy and save money on Health and Medical Insurance,,,sounds good aye!

I'm sorry, but a high carbohydrate diet is a surefire way to get diabetes & become obese. If you want to be fit & healthy think low carb.

Steve V- yogurt doesn't have lactose in it (the active cultures use it as food). I'm both lactose intolerant and allergic to dairy so I know these things :)

Good tips and reminders! Additional nutritional supplements are great energy boosters and all day fuel for our bodies. Check into superfoods, antioxidants, B-12, etc... There are a number of great liquid nutritional products in the market place. Check out your local health food store or you can go to www.tinyurl.com/liquidnutrition for one of the highest scored nutrition and antioxidant product available. I really appreciated the article. It reminded me of a few ways to tweak my lunches or snacks 'til I can get lunch. Thanks. And to those of you leaving such stupid messages, how old are you little cretins? Why leave such stupid messages? Must be in High School or Middle School?

It is interesting that the diet that gives you the most energy is mostly vegetarian or vegan. Most of the food that it recommends are staples in any vegetarian diet--things like soy milk, tofu, chick peas, black beans, avocado, and of course fruits and vegetables. Just another compelling justification to become vegetarian, other than for ethical reasons.

Just had to comment - soy milk is unnatural and horrible? As opposed to consuming milk from another species years after you should have been weaned? Name me one other creature that does this! Talk about unnatural!

That is a very tree huggin slim word of advice. That is not at all hardy and filling. Get some nutrition and eat real food. Whole milk and meat. Don't starve. That is a poor nutritionist recomendation.

Steve V., I am lactose intolerant also, and I can easily digest yogurt, it might be worth trying if you haven't. Also, you can still have cheese, it just might be veggie cheese or soy.
