Super Bowl is near. Do you know what you're serving with your chips? Try any and all of these four, super easy, internationally-inspired cheese dips that are also great with crudites or crackers.

Tip: To keep calories down, use yogurt.

French-Style Cheese Dip
(Makes about 2 cups)

2 packages Boursin or other garlic herb soft cheese (5.2 oz. each)
3/4 cup thick Mediterranean or Greek style yogurt or 1/2 cup whole milk

Blend the ingredients together with a wire whisk or in a blender.

British-Style Cheese Dip
(Makes about 1  3/4 cups)

1/2 cups mayonnaise
1/2 cup thick Mediterranean or Greek style yogurt or 1/2 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

Blend the ingredients together.  If you like a chunkier dip, mix the ingredients with a spoon. For a smoother, creamier consistency, use a blender.

Italian-Style Cheese Dip
(Makes about 2 cups)

12 ounces of whipped cream cheese or mascarpone cheese
1 small can of tomato paste

Blend the ingredients together completely with a spoon.

Greek-Style Cheese Dip
(Makes about 2 cups)

1 cup thick Greek style yogurt
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/2 cup grated cucumber
Salt to taste

Combine the yogurt and feta in a blender until smooth.  Stir in the grated cucumber.

Greek yogurt? I'm sure to find that between the Yoplait and the Dannon, right? Or go to a Greek specialty store? Forget it. None of these sound good to me anyway.

I find it so amusing when people are rude and not very bright. Actually YES you will find the Greek Yogurt between the Yoplait and Dannon ... it's at just about every grocery store and much better for you.

If you can't find Greek style yogurt, just take 1 1/4 cup plain unsweetened, unflavored yogurt and put it in a coffee filter or in cheesecloth, put it in a strainer over a bowl and wait an hour. The yogurt will become thicker, like Greek yogurt and there will be about 1/4 cup of liquid (whey) in the bowl. Almost instant Greek yogurt!

It is amusing to me when people are so pretensious. You may find Greek Yogurt between the Yoplait and Dannon in your area. But unless you have shopped nationwide how can you make the statement of 'just about every grocery store'. I have never seen Greek Yogurt in a regular supermarket and I have shopped extensively in several states.

I shopped in every state in the USA and they all have greek yogurt. You are just an idiot, live with it.

I am a little disappointed because none of these dips sound good to me. I hate Greek yogurt, it has a strange aftertaste. I think that I will stick to rotel and velveeta!

If you DO in fact have a mediteranean market you ask for lebneh and you will get a yogurt that goes beyond sublime! For the less adventurous rednecks among you there is always lipton onion soup and sour cream...

Wow, here is this nice lady just leaving dips idea's and so many of you have slammed her, just walk away, no need for the nasty remarks. Greek Yogurt is in about every Jewel and Dominicks in the Chicagoland area, or if you shop Caputo's or Valli's, you will find it there.. or as mentioned... filter plain yogurt in cheese cloth or literally a coffee filter... and by the buy.... I happen to really like the old fashioned Lipton Onion dip and Sour cream, why re-invent the wheel?

first of all..thanks Michelle for your ideas on dips..it's nice to have some changes in the dip and chip world...your efforts are appreciated.. I am not a fan of mayo, however, changing it up w/something like sour cream might work.. I think the recipes are easy and quick to put together.. definitely worth trying..
