Personally, I think we should leave the national chains alone and try to support locally owned "pizza parlors" more. Generally, the food is fresher, the variety better, and the service outstanding. Thn again, I live in Chicago and we have a pizza place on every corner, so they are all competing for our business. If you want greasy, go to Lenas; stuffed, go to Giordanos; sweet sauce, Palermos, and the list goes on. It also helps the local economy and helps the high school kids who work in the places!

Papa Johns is the most disgusting pizza I've ever had (excluding something from a roller rink) - If you are from the north east you should despise all of those. Chain pizza is GARBAGE.

These 3 do not compare to the local pizza place we have. Flavor, ingredients and quality are the differences.

Glad we have a good place where I live that is a lot better than any of the 3 listed. Its a local place called La Bellas! The pizza is great, they offer sandwiches and wings. Lots to choose from.

Pizza hut has gone down hill. Papa Johns is over priced and Dominos is bland. Got to go to a regluar mom and pop pizza joint for good pizza

Papa Murphy's is the best chain pizza there is! It's left out of this study I presume because they don't deliver. But if you're lucky enough to have one nearby (they're not everywhere..) it's well worth trying.

Pizza Hut's Mia was horrible!!! It had no cheese and very little toppings. Tasted like we were eating cardboard. Never again! I prefer Pizza Factory or Papa Murphys take and bake.

pizza hut is the top of the list here in houma,LA but i agree with the slow delivery and the taste makes up for it. As far as Pappa John; they way too much sauce and its not cooked enough. But everyone has different taste, think i might order some now.

Pizza Mia pizzas from Pizza hut are disgusting. These reviewers are out of their minds. The Mia crust, sauce, scarce toppings, and lack of cheese were disgusting.

I love Pizza Hut pizza but they get old really quick! I love going to John's Incredible Pizza. You can't beat going inside of John's and grabbing their buffet. Then afterwards you can go play bumper cars! Straw Hat's pizza is great especially if you have kids they can go play all the video games!

If you compare the national chains with world-famous, New Haven, CT pizza -- Sally's, in particular, you have to think that we're talking about two different cuisines. I've never tasted any of the chains that could compare with New Haven.
