Go to Willington Pizza (near the UConn campus in Storrs, CT) for a Red Potato Pizza, complete with crumbled bacon, sour cream, and grated cheddar.

Garcia's Pizza in the pan in Illinois & Indiana is absolutely the best! It's the home of the "Flying Tomato Brothers." Delivery cars look like tomatoes & they even have a hot air balloon in which their mascots, Ralph & Joe used to throw out frisbees. Ask anyone that lives in the Champaign-Urbana, IL area or some places in Indiana. It's a lot like Chicago style, with thick rich tomatoes. The Gutbuster is great & their stuffed pizza too! I moved away & I miss it !!!

You haven't lived until you ate at Pepe's in New Haven. Such a minimalist place/pizza, but well worth a drive (and the wait, around 2 hours during peak times/days). The crust is killer!
